I want to buy a home. How do I get started?

Thank you for your interest! To get started, just fill out this form and I will be in touch ASAP!

What is the best way to get a hold of you?

Without a doubt, email is the best communication channel for me.

Text can also work, and phone call is generally least effective method.

You can find my contact information here.

Can I use a Roth 401k for a down payment?

As with all lending questions, check with your lender. For this particular one, you would have to check your plan to see if it is allowed or not.

How do I know if that Zillow foreclosure listing is available?

Zillow does a wonderful dis-service to retail buyers by scraping foreclosure notices, and then posting them as apparent listings leading the typical buyer to think they might be able to get a great deal (let’s not talk about how that’s a mis-conception in itself). Anyway, at least they provide a good clue as to if a particular foreclosure is available for sale. Just look at the colored dot/icon…

Red = for sale

Blue = not for sale

I want to make an offer. Now what?

Great! I will need to write up the offer for signatures. To make sure we are on the same page regarding your offer, please fill out this form and I will get it over to you to sign as soon as possible.

There is a home, land, or condo I would like to see. How do I schedule that?

Easy! Just fill out this form with the requested information and I will get something setup as soon as possible.

Note: If you want to see more than one place, just use the “other information” field to provide detail.

My lender said the appraisal has been ordered. How long until I know the results?

That depends. First, the appraisal being ordered does not necessarily mean it has been scheduled. Once the appraisal has been scheduled, you can plan on a week or so to get the results back. Please forward the results to me as sometimes I am not provided a copy.

How do I download a document as a PDF?

From a phone, click “More …” (1) then “Download” (2) from the submenu that opens.
