Okemos Michigan is a beautiful little town to the south east of Lansing just off I-96 (exit 110). Be sure to stop in at the Back Yard BBQ off Jolly for lunch, Stillwater on the corner of Jolly and Okemos for Dinner, and pick up some beverages for the weekend from Vine and Brew.
Besides places to eat and the Meridian Mall, there are a number of great subdivisions to be found in Okemos and a handful of nice apartment complexes.
